Tatting yarn/thread
Number 7 (tiny) crochet hook
Earring (the fish hook kind)
scissors
ABBREVIATIONS:
CHAIN (ch)
SINGLE CROCHET (sc)
DOUBLE CROCHET (dc)
SLIP STITCH (sl st)
Crochet Along with the video if you need a visual!
Start by making a Magic Circle.
(ROUND 1) In the Magic loop, ch 3. work 2 dc, ch 3, (work 3 dc and ch 3) three more times. Join round with a sl st to the beginning ch. Tighten magic circle.
Turn work.
(ROUND 2) Sl st in the ch 3 space. ch 1. Work 5 more sc in the space. Work one sc in each of the next dc. (Work 6 sc in the ch-3 space and one sc in each of the next 3 dc) three times more. Join round with sl st to beginning ch-1.
Turn work.
(ROUND 3) Sl st in the middle dc/sc. Ch 5. sl st in the middle of the ch-6 sp. Ch 5. Sl st in that same space. (Ch 5, sl st in the middle dc/sc. ch 5. sl st in the middle of the ch-6 sp. ch 5. sl st in that same space.) 3 times more. Join round with sl st to beginning ch.
Weave in the ends. Attach a corner to the earring piece.
