Welcome to my website. Grab a crochet hook and some yarn-- stay awhile!

 

As a wife, mother of one, dog mother of 2, and a sign language interpreter, one of the things that calms me is crocheting and knitting. My other love is traveling (especially to scotland and nibbling on delicious haggis and black pudding...yum). During the beginning months of 2020, I needed the "namaste" in my daily routine during the time of social distancing and thought, "Why not teach my craft?" So, off it went from there!

Where it all started a long long long time ago:

When I was 16, during a blackout while I was visiting my grandmother, she decided to get out her yarn and hook (in the lantern candlelight), and teach me how to crochet. I still have the afghan in my closest, with its wonky edges and 1970's yarn.
